Durante las últimas semanas 32 alumnos de nuestra institución rindieron exámenes de Cambridge English. El año pasado solamente se presentaron alumnos a rendir Cambridge English: First, pero este año también se incorporaron los niveles Preliminary y Advanced. Las instancias de examen fueron la culminación de años de preparación que implicaron perseverancia y compromiso, y queremos felicitar a todos estos alumnos por haber aceptado este desafío, que les implicó esfuerzo y, sin duda, algunos nervios en los días de examen.
Por nuestra parte, el departamento de inglés se encuentra sumamente complacido y orgulloso de haber podido presentar un número tan significativo de alumnos para rendir los exámenes de Cambridge los cuales, como es de público conocimiento, poseen reconocimiento internacional. Estamos convencidos que dicha certificación será de gran importancia para el futuro de nuestros alumnos ya que de esta manera han incorporado otra herramienta de gran utilidad a su bagaje de conocimientos y así hacerle frente a los muchos desafíos que la vida les pondrá en su camino.
During the past weeks 32 of our pupils were very busy sitting Cambridge English exams. Last year the school presented candidates for Cambridge English: First, but this year we incorporated the Preliminary and Advanced levels. Sitting these exams was the culmination of one or two years of preparation which involved perseverance and commitment, and we want to congratulate these pupils on having accepted this challenge, which undoubtedly meant more work for them, and of course a few butterflies in the tummy on the day of the exams!
We in the English department are delighted and proud to see so many of our pupils sitting these exams, which are recognised worldwide, because we are confident that with these qualifications the children have added another tool to their set, which will help them greatly as they begin to find their way in the world.
