Un grupo de alumnos de 6to grado en sus clases de inglés inventaron sus propios robots e idearon sus habilidades. Invitaron a los alumnos de 1º B y 2º B, y explicaron en inglés lo que cada robot podía hacer, sus cualidades, edades y de donde venían.
Fue un lindo encuentro de edades. Los chicos de 1º y º estaban impresionados con los robots. Algunos hablaban, tenían luces o se movían sobre ruedas. Además, les impresionó la habilidad de los chicos ‘grandes’. Algunos decían, «vamos a hablar en inglés como ellos cuando seamos grandes!»
A group of 6th form pupils have been busy designing robots in their English classes. They built their robots and invented their uses. This Friday morning they invited pupils from forms 1B and 2B to see their work and explained (with a lot of gestures to help!) what their robots could do, where they were from, their ages, etc.
The visitors were not only very impressed with the robots – some talked, had lights, or moved on wheels – but also with the ability of the ‘big’ children. Some were heard to say, «we’ll be able to speak in English like that when we are big!»
